Fall is here, and it's time to take out the knitwear, jackets and scarves in our attempt to stay as warm, and remain as cool [aesthetically] as we possibly can. I love this time of year, it offers a happy medium between the dreariness and bitterness of winter and the sweltering heat of summer (NEED NOT APPLY FOR BRITS). As a result, I wanted to take some of my favourite looks from the Fashion Weeks and translate some of these styles into Ethically Conscious outfits, starting with this look from Milano Fashion Week S/S13.

I am absolutely obsessed with a pop of colour, and this stylish lady has done this through the burst of crimson that deliciously wraps her feet like gloves, compliments of Maison Martin Margiela funky design. There is something very reminiscent of Yohji Yamamoto's aesthetic, especially his work in the late 80s, early 90s, where his poetic structured pieces told stories of diaphanous femme fatale women. This woman portrays this in her outfit, and I love it. Even her oversized leather jacket is making me giddy (perhaps she threw on her boyfriend's jacket in a last minute frenzy to make the show?). As a result, I had to feature this outfit as part of my style challenge. What follows below is an outfit I think is reminiscent of her's. All we need now is the quiet strength to pull it off.
